Is it reasonable to want summer over before it even begins?! I think I need to find some better tint for my windshield.....

No don't tint those windows. Think of it as your own personal sauna. Just always wear your swim suit underneath your work clothes and as you travel enjoy the health benefits of sweating out those impurities.
Then when you get to your destination towel off, get in your work clothes and you will be refreshed and ready to go.
Your wet hair and smeared make-up are issues you will have to figure out on your own.
