I've now added the Kindle 2 to my 'list of things that I REALLY want to get, but theoretically don't need, and probably shouldn't even consider until I'm financially secure enough to purchase a home and be able to live independently.' Sigh.

I don't know about reading an entire book on a screen. Remember when your mom said not to sit too close to the TV or you would go cross eyed or blind? Same principle.
I have no idea what this Kindle 2 contraption is that you're speaking of, but I have to agree with Rob. :)
